The Master Class Series: for Piano and Voice

General Information

Alexander & Buono International (ABI) is pleased to announce The Master Class Series, two six-month study symposia for students of Voice and Piano.

The first symposium (Children and Young Adult Seminar):

  • for classical pianists only, aged six through eighteen years;

The second symposium (Adult Seminar):

  • for singers and pianists eighteen years and older whose abilities range from accomplished amateur to professional.

Each series is made up of six master classes to be held once each month beginning in September 2012, culminating in a concert by participants in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on Sunday February 24, 2013 at 1:30 PM.

Both series are limited to an enrollment of eight participants each, who must be prepared to perform at all of the six classes in the series, with a view toward honing technique and working on repertoire that will be presented at the final concert.

Each monthly session will also include a discussion group designed to offer more effective methods of performance, and overcoming anxiety.
